Before the holidays are over…

December 24, 2008

…I figured I better get these posted!

The kids both had Christmas programs they participated in this year. John sang with his preschool class and loved it! Elizabeth happily played the parts of Shepherd and Wise (Wo)Man in our church’s Christmas program.

“Shhh… the baby Jesus is sleeping…”

“There were one, there were two, there were three little angels… TEN little angels in that band!”

“Mary rode the donkey: Bumpity bump!” All three four-year-old classes sang together.

The entire school sang “Joy to the World” and…
…”We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. John really enjoyed being up on the stage and had fun performing the songs he had been giving us previews of for the last month or so!

Elizabeth as a Wise (Wo)Man

The Nativity. Check out the baby Jesus. And yes, everyone thought William would’ve been a MUCH BETTER baby Jesus than that freaky doll that actually made some of the kids a little wary! Someone ELSE obviously made the doll decision… Will slept through the program in his carseat and would have been competely unaware of being in the manager. Bitter? Not at all- I just like to show off my kiddos!! :)

The Christmas program was everything a children’s church Christmas program should be: painfully hilarious for the adults and proud, fun moments for the children. Both feelings full of joy this wonderful season celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
